We are ANKC registered dog breeders of ANKC registered Gun Dogs & ANKC registered Working Dogs. We are dog lovers, members of Dogs NSW & a number of specialty dog clubs & dog training clubs. We have shown, trialed, trained & worked dogs for many years & our dogs are regulars on the show circuit & compete in other disciplines. Our ANKC Gun Dog breeds of choice are the Lagotto Romagnolo AND in September 2018 our first 5 Spanish Water Dogs arrived from Europe.
We live out of Sydney about an hour from the CBD & approx 2 hours from Canberra on some acres that is a work in progress for the benefit of the dogs, other domestic animals and the native animals that share the land with us. The property is adjacent to native bush, creeks & rivers, not too far from the coast & an ideal environment to raise & train our dogs. We take no shortcuts in their care & welfare & welcome those of you interested in the breeds to visit us but by appointment. Our pups when available are always ANKC registered on Main Register from health tested parents. We ensure their physical & mental development & raise pups in our home & from 5 weeks spend time, weather permitting in a special area near the house. We socialise them with our other dogs & family members, you could say even spoilt. Before leaving to new homes [from 8 weeks of age], they will also have been health tested by our Vets, vaccinated at 6 weeks, & microchipped at 7 weeks. Their second vaccinations will be due when 12 weeks of age. Feel free to call or email us if you doing research on the breeds we keep, as a possible addition to your family unit. Judith's contact details are 0418966336, 0246843991 and the email address is email@example.com Please read through our pages & check the blog as most of the questions you will ask about our dogs are answered either on our pages and/ or the blog & you will find that we each have a FaceBook presence. We are not sponsored in any way & we see merit in showing quite a few dogs & having them all titled as well as encouraging & mentoring buyers of our puppies to a variety of dog sports as this we believe shows the diversity we offer to the breeds in Australia. It's important for prospective Lagotto owners to understand that the Lagotto breed is a 'working' dog. They are not lap dogs. We suggest to you that the most important considerations when looking for a Lagotto pup to join your family is not the colour of the pup, but temperament and character. Please bear this in mind. They need ongoing training & the training does not stop at puppy preschool graduation. You need time & commitment & if you don't have the skill set, then use a professional dog trainer using 'balanced' training methods . UTD information is usually available on our FaceBook page - Incavale Lagottos and on www.leatherworksfordogs.com We start campaigning our SWDs in 2019.
